I just got my new 2019 Tri Glide a month ago. Got 21k for my trade in. Got 3k off list. Not sure if I would pay 50k for a new CVO TG, but all that chrome stuff sure if pretty. Hate the paint color and the graphics though. I'm sure they will sell out though. Just as an aside, when is Harley going to put independent rear suspension on these bikes?

$50k and not a real windshield or even a rear bumper - but you get back the standard CB you use to get free.....plus a whopping 3 cu.in. well worth $14000 extra.

Believe it or not, it was a 2010. It was in fantastic condition, but I didn't expect that kind of number. I think I just happened to hit the dealership on the right day with the right sales rep...obviously one who was very, very hungery...lol.

Yeah, I was expecting an offer of 14k or so. I nearly fell over when they made me the offer of almost 21k. But I think I have it figured out. A 2019 Tri Glide has a gross (dealer) margin of about 20%, or about $7,400.00 on my particular bike. Give me 4k over what any other dealer would give me, discount it almost 3k and they are still in the black...barely but in the black. It was the last 2019 and they were scheduled to begin getting the new 2020's in a week or so. They can get about 23 for the one I traded...so while they were slim, they still made some money on a bike that had been on the showroom floor for almost a year. But I got really, really lucky that's for sure.
I can't believe they didn't offer any color red. I do want to come back to three wheels. I traded my 17 when my wife died thinking I would ride on two more. two years and 4k miles say that isn't the truth. So i looked at 2019's and wasn't really bowled over by the red/silver. I am more of a dark red guy. The turquoise 2020 I would like to see. But I may be choosing between the blue/silver and the black.
I am coming back to three wheels though. I have missed you guys ...lol

Absolutely. The "grey" and black one is especially depressing. The only one besides black that even looks like it might be something is the turquoise one...and it's "too turquoise" for my tastes. Needs some off white with it.
