Question for Jack Klarich

Jack my 14 Tri had a tuner swap. Went from TTS to PV. Mechanic could not unlock the TTS so he replaced the ECU. When he did that I lost the outside temp readout on the info center. I've noticed you seem to have a feel for this electrical stuff, any thoughts? So far no one seems to know that I've asked. It's not the sensor, tried that.

Richard, I have a question

When you say your mechanic replaced your ECM, does that mean your original ECM or was it a new 1?

The reason I ask is some data may need to be loaded onto your ECM via the dealers digital technician is my understanding

Does everything else appear to be working OK?

The tts tuner could not be unlocked from the ecm so its a brand new ecm, now with pv. I had also lost cruise and reverse. Mechanic got those back but not the temp. Did not buy from FM so they will not help.

Have you scrolled thru the available gauge readings you can display with the PV Tuner yet?

How did you get the new ECM programed, and what worked before installing the PV?

Have not done that as I am not computer friendly. Very good mechanic has done the corrections after someone else did the initial PV/ECM install and lost various things. New mechanic has been in touch with PV but no luck yet. Some felt it may be a BCM issue.

Everything worked well originally. I swapped from TTS to PV as there seemed to more mechanics familiar with it.

If your mechanic has not already scanned your ECM you may try that to see what it knows
