Weather stripping on the trunk flap

Has anyone got a picture they can share with me, showing how the weather stripping on the MotorTrike's rear trunk is placed... preferably on a VTX, but not necessarily (it may be the same for other models.) I got my kit installed, by the dealor, but because it was un-painted, none of the weather stripping was attached on the rear trunk. I forgot to ask the installer how it was supposed to be installed, (he's 8 hours away, so taking it back to him isn't really an option), and after I had it painted, I put it on the way I thought it should go. After washing the trike and finding a trunk-full of water, I'm now wondering if I got it right or not.
