Who do you have to go to to get a loan for a trike? My bank would only loan on value of the two wheel motorcycle. They could not look up the value of it with the trike kit added. Of course the makes a huge difference. Just wanting to get some thoughts of other people in other states. Thanks

On a conversion the trike portion of the bike is considered by most to be an accessory. Being an accessory for loan purposes most banks to not consider them as part of the value of the bike.
So as previously stated you might want a signature loan or a line of credit loan. The other choice is to but a trike that is factory built like the Tri-Glide, FreeWheeler, Spyder, or Slingshoot.
Good luck

My credit union had No problem with me buying a New trike a few yrs ago.
Plus I got a better rate then my bank was offering
I'm told credit unions are easier to deal with.I had a relationship with my bank and my loan officer rode so having them clarifying things with folks higher up helped.Mine had a new kit so the officer sent a copy of what the manufacturer was advertising as cost for kit helped. With all that an appeal of the initial denial and the title for my 7 yr old nomad was needed to get it approved.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
