This thing got caught in my mind ... was thinking about how they can do so much to a trike and sell it as new with a warrantee .... I'm guessing HD will honor the warrantee because they used all Harley parts ... I will guess the price tag on that thing rivals the CVO trikes ... Labor costs alone must be astronomical.

My thought is that they simply took an entire front end off a Road Glide and stuck in on a Tri .... hmmmm ... wonder what a Road Glide front end costs ... LOL.

Paint that bad girl pearl white with a hint of black cherry ... sweet!!!!

Maybe ... Harley will consider doing this if this thing sells fast ...

The trike "Did" sell its parked at my home now, broke it in on the way home from the dealer. Had 5 miles on it when I test rode it. What I paid was not even close to the CVO Tri-Glide. A few dollars more than what a typical 2019 Tri-Glide at reduced clearance for the 2020 models that were already there. Was really looking at this Street Glide Special that was way custom and overpriced, ape hangers, custom paint, all tricked out, it was bad ass. But then I saw the clearance prices on the 2019 Tri-Glides, went back to the motel and pondered. Bought my wife a 2011 Tri-Glide in 2010 for the same money. And they had a Twisted Cherry, I think that was the color that I really liked. And my wife asked "do you really love it?". Me "well that Road-Glide trike has me kinda thinkin". She said "get the one you love". We went in there to get some stuff to clean up my bike and her trike while on vacation, damn love bugs. Next day I went back and made a deal with them for the "trike with the shark nose".

They made $100 on the bike actually $113 according to the paperwork and the paperwork guy.

All warranty is still intact.

I shook hands with the Master Tech that did the bike. He said it was a faring swap. Stock stabilizer obviously would not fit under the shark nose, so he made the brackets to fit the stabilizer on it and its not the typical H-D one. Not sure on the speedo and tach, I'd say they were a swap since they have the reverse icon on the tach. Obviously it has the Road-Glide bars on it. Everything fits me great and I think its awesome. Nothing acts funky, the speedo and GPS jive perfectly mile marker to mile marker. The 2018 Street Glide Special in Hot Rod Red metal flake I traded in was not as good in this department. Also for me anyway the GPS on the 2019 is way more user friendly than the 2018 Street Glide I traded in.

And I did good on my trade, I actually made a few bucks.

Bottom line: For me it was time. Rode 2 wheels since I was 8. And I still got 5 Harleys with 2 wheels to ride. Health is good but things on my body don't work the same now. Hips, knees, back and hands stiffer. Exercise helps yea, but I want to be comfortable for 500 miles. The shark nose and 3 wheels seemed to add to that comfort for me. And she's a one of a kind.

Congrats on the purchase. Its not as easy as they made it sound. A lot of labor and parts. From the sounds of what you said you paid you did really really well. Just the inner and outer fairing along with the instrument fairing and the Road Glide fairing mount retail prices on the parts is well over 2 grand. Then the labor about 8 to 12 hours. I know because I did my 2013 last year. Being a dealer of coarse they had better access to the required parts but still you got a GREAT deal. No reason for the warrantee not being good its just changing out Harley Parts. No different then putting different Harley Shocks on it. Ride safe you will love it. I love mine. I also put a rake kit on from Papa Zook so I really love the ride.
