weight & Toy Hauler

Couple of questions; anyone know the weight of 2015 Honda 1800 w/Roadsmith conversion? Also, anyone with a toy hauler bumper pull trailer and similar Honda trike? Would love to hear your experiences with any particular unit on loading and towing. FYI I am considering a Forest River Work and Play 19 WCB. I love everything about this trailer but concerned about fitting the trike inside. I've got the dimensions of the garage, and it appears the trike will fit, but I'd like to see the trike loaded before I pull the trigger. Anyone with experience with this toy hauler would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you guys!

I'm guessing it weighs in at around 1300-1500 ... My 08 with Champion conversion was right around 1300

My 2007 with Champion kit weighs just over 1300. I would recommend taking the trike to where ever the toy hauler is and experiment with loading with the standard ramp door. I didn't with my fifth wheel toy hauler and had to create a 4' extension to the ramp to load the trike due to the low ground clearance on the trike. Best of luck to you.

Thanks for the reply GrandpaDave. I agree 100% with taking the trike to the RV dealership to experiment with the loading ramp. If you don't mind, could you explain exactly what you did with the 4' extension to the ramp?

I've got a 2012 Wing with a 2014 Hannigan kit. I bought a 7X12 enclosed trailer and haul my trike with no problems at all. No need for extra ramps. The Hannigan is a little over 63 inches wide, but with the door and the cables I needed a 7 ft width. Plus I can walk around the trike and not worry about the sides being to close to the sides of the trailer. I did not get the tandom 2 axle since I didn't see the need but I do recommend purchasing the electric brakes. What I bought should serve your purpose just fine.

Roger, I hope you don't have to go that effort either. In my case it was December and the only thing keeping us from heading to Texas for part of the winter was coming up with an effective way to load the trike in the toy hauler. I had everything I needed in the shop already.
