Air bag line fittings

Trying to find a small air leak in motortrike raptor conversion.... what's the best way to verify the air lines are properly seated? When i inspected the lines near the air bags noticed one side the little green plastic fitting where the air line inserts is loose (wiggles in and out) where none of the other fittings do. I'm only losing a couple lbs a day so hard to see any signs of leakage (bubbles).

It can be trying. I just got me a spray bottle with soapy water and put it up about double of what you run that way it will show better. Took me about 2 hrs finding mine. My big leak was in the air compressor control unit. Swapped and made it a manual unit instead of wireless and all is well now. I had to take my wheels off to get a real good view of the fittings.

Well I found it.... the braided hose that is going from the compressor to the thing-a-me-bob was leaking. Some type of putty was used to seal it originally, took the fitting apart and used some teflon tape, hopefully it will hold. Also, the pressure gauge has always been erratic, more so lately when i noticed my leak, however after fixing this leak it's pretty darn steady. So, as an fyi for others... if you have an erratic gauge you might have a slow leak so might want to do the soapy water test.... and second, if you hear your compressor kick on when you turn on your ignition (not start, just apply power), it means you probably have a leak. Those were the symptoms i had with mine, after a day or two i would turn on ignition and hear the compressor kick on. At first i didnt know what it was, thought it was fuel pump relay, etc..... ended up being the leak.

BTW, thanks David for your guidance... both soapy water and patience paid off. I spent awhile looking at fittings at the bag and the bag itself, finally decided to soak everything down and saw a huge foam develop under the leak. I appreciate your help.

Things like that drives me crazy. Feels good when you finally find the source of the leak. Glad you found it.
