Doing research on trikes
Not ready to go on three wheels yet. I can still hold the Harley up. If and when I go to a trike it probably won’t be Harley. Wife and I owned six Wings and six Harleys. My question today is what riders think about the 2018 Goldwing trike with the new front suspension. Does the new suspension require any modifications (rake, etc) when applied to a trike?

FWIW both Roadsmith and CSC make (or have made FOR them) new fork assemblies with the correct geometry. Hannigan reworks the stock fork and Motortrike does something else, just not sure what. The CSC seems to be the most well engineered at this time. I've ridden new Goldwings a couple of times and the suspension is a HUGE improvement over the old setup. I never realized how horrible the stock Goldwing front suspension was until I took a Motortrike reverse trike for a ride, what an eye opener.
I have to agree Randy "Papa Zook" is the man to talk to. I have always found him helpful and will to take the time to answer questions.
