I am watching close to this tread. Trying to get my ducks in row. Got about three more years, till we can travel in winter. Dont know where we are going to go, but for sure want ride alot. Got to come down and look around. Keep reporting, and sharing pictures

It is looking like Saturday and Sunday might be pretty nice weather if Nuc and Lola would be interested. Friday is a little on the cooler side but not bad - showing sunshine.

Only way to ride bro. Saw many scoots out today. Wish my health wouldn't hinder my ability to ride in chilly weather like I used to. Damn circulation issues in my legs monkey wrench that. Sadly,it's all about the bottom line to the bean counters. Been there, done that with several major companies when they deep 6'd their corporate fleets because of the likes of J B Hunt, Schneider Transportation, Warner and the other irregular route carriers that cut freight costs so deep as to not make a captive fleet profitable. Well ........ The major idea behind a corporate fleet was the equipment served as a rolling billboard. That and guaranteed on time delivery, non weather related. 10 yrs behind the wheel of a pink Peterbuilt. West bound service road of I-20 near Midland-Odessa in the mid 80's.Yeah, not leaving anything on the table. My actual work day will be Dec 19th if everything goes as planned. HR told me I had to be here on Dec 31 to clear out of the company and turn my keys, badge and parking pass in. I explained that I will be half way across the country BUT, is she insisted I be here on the 31st, I would not turn my stuff in at that time and I would be to work on Jan 2nd. If I do that, they need to give me my 4 weeks vacation AND one week PTO. I would then sign out to use ALL that time and they can pay me for not being here. LOL Geez, guess what.... All of a sudden, I can turn my stuff in on the 19th and remain on the payroll thru the 31st. It's a holiday miracle.
I will never understand why companies need to mess with people after they have been faithful to them even after being screwed over.

We only have FB between George's wife Carrol and Jan. Not very reliable. Just ask at the office for George. We have been at his place but, Last I heard, he sold his rig and was in a cabin. I saw a group of trikes from Old River at Coopers Bbq in Mason last year so I know they're there. I will message a biker that lives by me in MI, thats there now.
I got a text from George. He is in Texas, but not up to riding at this time. Pray that he has a speedy recovery.
