Riding Earplugs/Hearing Protection
Hey fellow riders! I just watched this video about Big Ear filtered custom earplugs and I want to know if any of you here tried their products. I'd love to get myself a pair but I want to know if their great first. Any other recommendation? Thanks!

Never used the Big Ear Adjustable Plugs. I'm actually using EarLabs dBud Adjustable Ear Plugs, they've received very good ratings by musicians. You can easily move the adjustment slider from -11dB to -24dB, they include an attachable neck leash and have magnets on the back to secure them around the neck when not in use. So far, the dBuds have served me well....there are actually times when I even wear them when sleeping.

Right now my wife and I are trying EarPeace for Motorsports. They come with 3 different sound diffusers a 17, 20, and 26 decibel. I have very severe hearing loss so when we both used the 26 I had to turn the radio up so loud it was uncomfortable for her. I then changed my diffuser to the 20 and eventually the 17 until I found the one the seems to balance things for us. Even with the 17 in everything is so much quieter than riding without. When you purchase you get 3 plugs in case you lose one and 3 sets of 3 diffusers that can be switched in seconds. You also get an aluminum case to store them.

Can't speak to those ... but ... the VA made me a set of ear plugs when I was riding Harley's with loud pipes ... had some sort of filter in them and were custom fit ... loved them ... now that I ride a quiet Harley ... don't use them.
