You can flush the inside of light with alcohol, let air dry, repeat if the haze is still there

It is not so much water, it is gases from the bulb. Very similar to what is happening with modern car headlights
Our headlamps have a pretty good rubber on the back side, tho it cannot seal out all of the moisture IMO

Had that fog inside the headlight. Used a chopstick un broken as a big tweaser and a big cotton ball to polish.

How to clean residue from inside FLRT Free Wheeler head light
Well, got advice from a friend, took light off & apart used windex 1 terry fiber cloth to clean & 1 fiber free to dry & a tooth brush handle good as new now. There is a hole in the bottom of the housing where the screw screws into the loose bracket, there is no gasket of any kind around the 2 rings that holds the light in. Bike is 4 yrs. old, rust inside bottom of housing. I thought about putting black elec. tape over the entire bracket (inside).
My Sportster don't have a hole of any kind under it's light. Did clean it Yrs. ago thou.

Bought this 2015 Free Wheeler with 3.400 miles on it in June 2019 so it's 4 yrs. old was told it was garage kept Well, must have been in a car port it has rust on brake rotor vent holes & bolts & screws, need advice on how to clean rust off. Google it there is 1 spray for 23$ that kills it. Want to know what you all use.

it will take some work, and you will have to stay on top of this as the rust will want to come back. The metal surfaces have already been etched
