Glad to read that you both will be attending the rally again next year. If you hadn't noticed, I have a new ride, a Ruby Metallic Red '20 Vanderhall Carmel GT. My avatar shows me standing next to it on the day I got it. Oct. 8th 2019.

Hopefully, the rally's website will be up and running so as to allow early pre-registrations either in December or the following month. As soon as I hear, I will notify everyone. Take care...!

Bill, it's still quite early... On-line registrations are not even available yet on the rally's website. I predict that will change in a couple of weeks. Will post again, just as soon as registrations are open for business.

Default Were You Born To Be Wild?

I don't know about you, but I don't believe that I was "born to be wild", maybe a bit crazy, but I sure do appreciate a good time. I can think of no other place that I'd rather be than the 6th Annual Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally, this summer on July 12th - 17th. This year will be my 5th rally and the 4th time I'll be hosting a get-together ride and luncheon event in appreciation of the many friends that I've made with fellow members of the this forum and most recently, the Vanderhall Owners forum on Facebook. I hope that you will consider attending this year's rally, as you will find the scenery of the Black Hills simply breath taking and a joy to 3 wheel on its roads. The attractions: Badlands Nat'l Park, Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore Nat'l Monument, Crazy Horse Nat'l Monument, Wind and Jewel Caves, and near by Devils Tower Nat'l Monument, are but just a few places to visit during your stay. Teresa announced that on-line pre-registrations are now open on the rally's website: www.d3wr.com.

Next week, I'll be giving the details of the first leg of the route I have planned under the thread: 2020 TrikeTalk - Vanderhall Owners Forums Meet & Greet/Ride/Luncheon event that will take place the morning of July 14th at the Deadwood Event Complex (DEC). Here's a very short video clip taken at the first D3WR in 2015 of the participants leaving DEC on the first group ride event. (Hint, turn off auto play on You Tube) Enjoy...https://www.facebook.com/Deadwood3Wh...2549088168244/

Default You must pay the registration fee, $40/person, to be registered for the rally!

    Attachment 81524

Teresa announced: Yup....That's how many people have already registered for this years Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally and we are SUPER pumped! However only 40 have paid..... While we love the enthusiasm of people filling out the on-line registration form, it actually is more work for us if you do not complete the whole process and pay the $40 fee. If you wonder what that money is used for, please go to the website www.d3wr.com and check out our answer under FAQ's. Keep those registrations coming in. Let's Make this event the biggest one yet!

Teresa recently announced: MAKE MY DAY!! I am leaving Tuesday evening for the SD Tourism Conference to learn new things and promote the Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally. We are only 15 registrations short from having our first 100. WOW.!! I'd love to brag it up in Pierre that we are" smokin hot" and breaking all kinds of records. Please register today or tonight. The first 100 names will be thrown in the hat to win a long sleeve t-shirt.

Oh by the way, if Ken Winchester's name is drawn, since he has already won a free long sleeve t-shirt for being the first person to register for the rally, he has agreed to donate the shirt to me. Ken, I wear an XL.

I am so looking forward to this rally. My fees are paid and my room booked. This will be my 3rd rally and my 6th trip to the Black Hills. There is so much to see and places to ride. See you soon Paul.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for your comments... Wow, your 3rd rally!!! It comes at no surprise to me. Last year's rally had a 45% ratio for attendees that had returned at least once. You obviously were in that statistic, including myself. We'll soon have, if we don't already, 100 that have pre-registered for the rally so far. Soon Teresa will be reporting a registrants map, showing where everyone is from and which state has produced the greatest number of attendees, to date. When she does, I'll post the map here, as I've done previously. Thanks Paul, for being a loyal supporter the D3WR. I look forward to seeing you again and welcoming you to my ride event.

Paul (sounds like there is an echo in here) a question. In the past you have billed your get together as a Trike Talk meeting, but you are billing this one as a Vanderhall meeting. IS this still for Trike Talk members also? I don't own a Vanderhall though I live just 100 miles from the factory.

    Paul,

You're asking a question on a thread that has to do only with "Updates to the 2020 6th Annual Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally". My Meet & Greet/Ride/Luncheon Event has its own thread. It's titled/billed as "2020 TrikeTalk - Vanderhall Owner Forums Meet & Greet/Ride/Luncheon Event". So to answer your question, it's a get-together for members of BOTH forums since I'm promoting the rally on both forums. Members of both forums are equally welcome. BTW, I hope to visit the Vanderhall factory in Provo, maybe next year or the following year. Remind me to ask for your address, as I may stop by to say hello and take you to coffee/lunch.

Default 1st Registrants Map for the 2020 D3WR

Teresa announced today: Registration is open for the 6th Annual Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally in Deadwood, South Dakota and can be done on-line by going to http://www.d3wr.com The rally starts Sunday, July 12 and ends Friday morning the 17th. If you would like more info or would like a registration sent to your email, send a note to teresas@firstgold.com

Today we post the first registration map and as you can see it has been a busy month. Every paid registrant's name was thrown into a hat and Les Anderson, a Harley Davidson rider from Bellevue, Nebraska has won the long-sleeve t-shirt. Congratulations!
