I am removing my tour pak (has six mounting bolts), and would like to mount a chrome rack in its place. Does anyone know of a rack that will work? Don't want a "universal" mount that needs drilling etc. Thanks

I have not heard of any ... probably gonna need to be a home made thing ... but I've been wrong before.

It sure does match (all holes align).
The FLHXXX bracket is now obsolete from HD-I’ve seen them on EBay from time to time
but they’re a RARE item.
i can check my paperwork and give you a part # if needed.
The FLHXXX was made by HD for only 2 years (Wife & I each have one).
I have the black luggage rack/She chrome.

Great looking trike! I have seen that rack in other pics but couldn't find out where they originated. If not too much trouble a part # would be appreciated. Now I understand the difficulty in finding one !!
My guess would be that having the stereo and nav system is a big plus ... even if you loose the rear speakers when you remove the TP. On my two wheeler Ultras, always wanted to be able to remove the TP to make the bike have a lower center of gravity while around town ... and more storage when touring .... just never did it cause I like the look.
Here is the HD part # for the luggage rack:
83954-10
as you can see it’s the old HD numbering system, so as stated OBSOLETE
also here is the matching Sissy Bar Upright (it bolts onto the rack) if you want to
83921-10
You may also want to verify the bolt hole pattern, I don’t believe that they have changed over the years though.
As I stated I switch from luggage rack to tour-pak as needed/works GREAT!
Good luck with your search!
These racks are very, very rare. HD quit manufacuturing them about 10 years ago. I was going to pull my tour pack off my TriGlide and run this very rack but took me over a year to find on....found it in Canada. After a lot of crap from the Canadian postal service and US Customs and USPS i got it but have never put it on. Sitting in my shop. About 6 months ago I ran across another one at a swap meet. The vendor really didn't know what he had and I picked it up for a good price. 1 unit is totally complete the other is missing the passenger pad.
Was told these setups were in the neighborhood of $800.00 from the dealership. You could have you local dealership put out a parts finder with the other dealerships and see if any of them laying in the back room. Might be doubtful because the mother ship had all the dealers a couple years ago ship back all obsolite or outdated parts to the factory.
I did see one this past summer and she said her dealership was able to find one....but it was missing the back rest and chrome hex retriner bolts.
Guess we could talk because I dont see me using one of 'em.8~\o
"Anybody can become an American but ya have to be born a TEXAN"
"Ya know I haven't been everywhere but it's on my bucket list"
It looks very similar to the HD air wing rack that's on the Freewheeler, which has 4 mounting points.
Have you checked th see if it would pick up 4 of the holes?
The other holes may need to be filled in.

I typed in obsolete Harley parts and this popped up.... Jan Wilem Boon, put in the numbers and said he has two both chrome. He may be overseas but you can start there.
Thanks for the part #. and other responses!! My dealer was only able to search in Canada and there were none available. Its likely the same situation at the dealers in USA. The body on my Tri Glide has six holes in the trunk, but if four of them would match it would be OK. Have a couple of machinist friends that would make me a rack as well. There is snow here now so can't ride until April/May , so have some time to look. I'll get in touch with Texan and see if we can work something out.
I found the SG rack on ebay, still looking for the sissy bar. Although I have not mounted it my research says it will bolt right up to a TG.

You can buy a rack specifically for a FW. It's unlikely the SG rack will have the same contour.

Thanks for the parts #'s. I was able to have a search done for US dealers (I'm in Canada) and I got a print-out of the dealers that had them in inventory. The list was supposed to be current and indeed, the first dealer I called had two new ones in stock. He does not have any backrests. I purchased one, so one left. The dealer (I hope this is allowed) was Chips H.D. in Osceola IA Ph 641-342-7494 Robbie is the manager.
Although it seemed these racks were unavailable, I got a list of 24 dealers across the USA that likely have them in stock, so there may be more available than I originally thought.
Thanks to everyone for their leads and comments................Glen
If you haven’t removed your tour-oak you might want to. I removed mine to install a relocation bracket to move it back. Harley’s exemplary quality left several deep scratches around the holes where they obviously set it down and moved it around until the holes lined up. Fortunately it doesn’t show with the tour-pak on but it still pisses me off. For $37k I have a right to expect better but it’s Harley after all.
no idea if it would show with rack you’re trying to find but if it does you’ll have to do something to correct it. Good luck.
