2020 CVO

Well brought my 2020 cvo on 1/25/2020, did the 500 mile break in period at 50 mph, at 543.5 miles on it started knocking bad, we was only .5 mile for the home, call dealer, they came and picked it up last Friday and gave me one reason right behind another, final they told me that the lifer had air in it, and told me that it had almost 600 miles on and did I want to go ahead and do the 1000k service.

I ask them did they figure out was the problem was and they said they started it up and let it run form awhile and the knocking went away and that they were going to let if cool back down and start it the next morning,.

The next day got a call and they said that they talked harley in replacing the from two lifter and ask did I still want them to do the 1000k service and that I would have to pay for it....

You think they would changed the oil in the as part of the warranty while they replaced the front two lifters....I mean come on I paid 50k for this bike.... No support at all from them!!!:furious::furious::furious::furious::furious::furious:

Did you get it back from the dealer yet ? like to no what they did to repair it

I just purchased my frist trike. I have been riding the Ultra Classics for many years and due to back and leg issues just switched to a 2020 CVO Triglide. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to set the rear shocks for a rider and passenger witha total weight around 430 lbs? I lowered the tire pressure after reading some of the additional post so hopefully that will help as well.

Welcome to the forum from Western Pennsylvania, sure wish I could help out with this issue. From what I've read and heard about, the only way to make it work is swapping them out for coil over one's. Harley's air OEM WERE NEVER GOOD. Ride safe Fred

Congrats on the new ride. 🍻🍻 Try the shock setting about 18 and go from there. You might want to lower the tire pressure A few pounds as well. On the regular tri tires everybody seems to run 22/23 lbs including myself. But be careful with the low profile tires though, you might not be able to drop them too much.

I have tried to adjust the shocks for 2 months. Every time we get to go out,I change them. No luck. HD susp. is JUNK. Just got my 14" shocks from ProAction ,along with the front fork suspension also. George builds Quality stuff. I had his 13 " on my 16 for over 40K .Sweet ride. Thought maybe this new HD susp. on the 2020 would be better. WRONG.. So ordered all new from George at ProAction & got it all this week. Will be a couple weeks or so before installed, but I know the ride will be great.

In your case, those low profile tires may also be part of the problem. I know that was the biggest reason I decided against the CVO. Best of luck finding a sweet spot. I know I will as soon as parts are installed. George sets the rears up really well when ordered.
