Default GL1500 Lehmans & Mufflers opinions?

Looking at the pics, these mufflers are extended … but not in a pretty manner. I have a couple more sets on a rack, as well as some nice '99 rectangle tip mufflers, I might re-do a set to look some better, but it's not like anyone looks past the tips anyway.

I liked the looks of the '99 mufflers, but they exit way up under the trike …. and they drone a bit as they are louder .... but there is no doubt they would be safer from back ups where curbs are found?

Even with turn downs, these drone too. The straight pencil tips don't drone. Maybe I'm just thinking about nothings here?

I've heard it said "exhaust tips are the same to a vehicle as the dot is to the i" …… much like "if you don't look back after parking, you bought the wrong one".

I think the look is pretty kewl ... if the sound if what you want ... I say keep them ... Not many Gold Wings have that look.

    Cool

My experience in making the 6 louder, after dismounting and turning the motorcycle off, you can still hear it running for at least another half hour. JMHO

    YEP.

Not looking for louder, just thinking about looks.

I like your trike with those exhaust tips! Different than most Wings.
