Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well-preserved body, but to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting...Holy Sh!t What a ride!
This is Andrey Kirpa. The artist and craftsman who fabricated my fenders (and will likely do my trike body too)
Here's where the fenders all began... I am always amazed at what he can do with a hammer and an English Wheel
More than I can tell my wife
Andrey is not bad really. The fenders were ~$900 each. (Yes that is WAAAAY more expensive than V-Twin replicas, but they did not fit the trike and were not what I was looking for) I am just about in year two of this build and budget does make it a slow process. The frame work is like $600 (I don't have a jig) and I do my own modifications and some simpler fab work so that is just metal and my time. But I am not in any hurry... I ride the Freewheeler "chopper" while I build the servicar tribute
Well.... the fenders are finished. Excuse the pause that will come before they are mounted.... They are in the Ukraine and have to get Missouri and then wait our turn for the frame...
I got my fenders today! They arrived safe and sound from the Ukraine. How if I can just get into the frame jig at the chop shop...
I like such enthusiasts as you are. You make a great job doing experiements and sharing them with people. Such people motivate me. My Harley Davidson love started from meeting guys form Harley Insider and is going with you.
That is some nice job on those fenders. That is what I call excellent workmanship.
