Friend of mine has a 07 Goldwing with a Motortrike solid axle rear end. Info I need is his has the disk rear brakes and thinking on adding speed bleeders to them. Does anyone know what size bleeders that they use in the calipers?
thanks, David

Looks like time to pull one & measure depth & thread ... but you're gonna make a mess.
Not worth hassle IMHO. I put speed bleeders on some, in a year or two they were stopped up, so now I just stick with regular bleeders and I keep a few spares on hand, and caps on the ones in use. I use vacuum bleeding ... or ... I get "Wife Unit" to help if a long reach from lever to bleeder.
I have a pressure bleeder set up I made using a cheap garden sprayer but it's really for when I want to bleed & change out fluid in a 4 wheeler, not for on a bike / trike. I have a vacvuum bleeder that is operated by hand (Mighty Vac) and I have one with collection jug attached that operates with air compressor (and has a bottle that fills the MC as fluid is pulled through), but often I just use the "pump & release" method until I see no air bubbles. Speed bleeders are great unless the hose pops off while you pump, thus making a mess.
