Hello all
Just wondering if the lift kit has a weight carrying limit I believe the Tri glide has a weight limit of 450 LBS.
Thanks for your input.

Can't help you with your question, but I just installed these on my '17 TG. They are as well built and seem heavier than the OEM shock mounts. They are really heavy duty. They are easy to install, just take your time and follow the instructions (watch the video). They raised my trike at the pipes over an inch. I remove my mufflers so I could clean them and swap them from side to side. I am very happy with them.
i do not believe the lift kit by itself will change the weight capacity much.

The Comfort Lift Kit™ will handle much more than the OEM weight limits. We have many Customers that between themselves, their passengers and luggage are well over 600 lbs, with no issues.
While we do not endorse going over the OEM limits, the lift brackets will handle them, no problem.
Sometimes when Mary and I go on a trip, we can pack pretty heavy....over the OEM limits.
I do not know what it would take to break the bolts holding the Comfort Lift Brackets, but am sure that some other component would fail before the brackets would. It would be a lot though.
We've been at rallies where I've seen 6 people piled on one Tri Glide riding around.

Thank you all for the input; much appreciated . One other question do you prefer the DK convertible comfort lift kit or the Legend lift kit. just want be sure i get the best lift kit.
Thanks

Yes, it is easy to think the Legend lift has something better about it with their retail price of $200, but it is a copy of our Lift Kit from many years ago. No comfort aspect to it at all, just a straight lift.
