Before the advent of anti-kick back chains and chain brake handles there were a lot of the saws kicking back and then hitting the operator square in the forehead...OHHHH the horror of missing fingers and limbs...
The golden rule when using a chainsaw is......When you get tired/fatigued , Stop and take a long break......Or know the fastest way to an emergency room...
