Wow Rex, lots of progress, definitely going to be cool.
2021 CVO TriGlide - Sunset Orange & Black
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well-preserved body, but to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting...Holy Sh!t What a ride!
Finally back to it.
Had to bend the upper arms to get the camber to align. Then had to cut factory weld on the tubes to align them. Then get the two sub frames in line and get that first piece in there.
And it is a roller.
Well ...... I lost a month sick with the covid.
I have not got to start back on the project yet. Just barely enough strength to work the job this first week back on my feet.
Some of the stuff I was working on before the sick time.
Machined down a chevy v6 distributor to fit into the cam drive.
Made mounts for the throttle position sensor and the mass air pressure sensor.
Both of which are chrysler parts.
Made the front beam clamps that the tubing frame will attach to.
Cut all the pulley guard and misc tabs off the valve covers and painted them.
Started on the body mount perimeter.
Still gotta make the rear Napoleon hat.
Now as I get to the bodies final position and settling in.....I might have an inch or two I can shorten up.
Rebuilt and modified the pedal assembly.
Shortened them an inch. That did give me some more foot room to work the feet around the windshield wiper motor (yes it is this small).
Also spread them out wider.
Most currently I have been working with pulleys and belt. With mix and matching misc parts from the original belt set up I came up with what I need...... minus one pulley. So making a pulley.
Hi Rex, This is some really great work you are doing, I love it...
