I have the 5.5% rake on my Goldwing (Roadsmith)..... [love it/easy steering]

I am preparing to set the rake angle of a springer. For those who know about springer rockers, they can get you to almost any rake and trial you want. SO my question is... What is the ideal rake and trail for a trike. Trail is definitely king...but rake gives you flop, so it matters.....45 degrees rake and 4" trail seems to be a fave in the web.... what are your thoughts?

For a trike I say near 27-30 degrees at the steering stem, adjust tube or front leg angle for 2.5" trail.
Make Courtesy Your "Code of the Road" too!
At this LINK is the most complete report/explanation of Rake & Trail that I have ever read. It is by Mark Zimmerman.
I would also get up with Randall (Papa Zook) at Cut-n-Shoot and get his input.
Merry Christmas!!!
