Parking brake issue
I have owned my 2017 Tri-Glide for about two months, during that time the parking brake has locked up even after releasing the pedal. Rocking the trike back and forth a few times I hear a loud clunk apparently coming from the rear brake and the brakes will release. I went under the first time liberally lubricated all connections and cables in the front. Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Larry, we live in a high humidity state. This is very common for the sintered (metal mix in the brake pads) to stick to the rear rotors. It is NOT an adjustment problem. If rocking the trike fails to unlock the brakes you may want to change the pads

When i would release the brake on my 17.....I would press down and then Abruptly slide my foot to the left entirely off the pedal to let it snap up......Originally Posted by Limited

I do that on my 14 and on my 15 ... works well.
Yes! I tried snapping the pedal quickly, it did not work! Rocking back and forth seen to be effective.
I got so tired of this same problem I changed my rear pads to EBC ( sintered with copper)
No more rear pad sticking to the rotors
Once again, what you are experiencing is the HD ( sintered with steel) pads sticking to the rotors, mostly from the high moisture in the air here in Florida

It happened to me in Texas. I could not move my Freewheeler. I was about to come in to message 1-800-JACK then I remembered I had to ride through standing water not far from home so it was probably just a stuck pad.I got so tired of this same problem I changed my rear pads to EBC ( sintered with copper)

I had this happen with my last 2 HD Baggers, very frustrating
