Sheepskin seat cover for old Shiney
Found a place in our Canadian neighbors province that deals with sheepskin. Reasonable price all good reviews so... with my birthday approaching soon I scored one for us. Delivered for less than a hundred USD. When it arrives I will model it err Shiney will LOL. I have heard alot of good things about sheepskin covers. Ride safe Fred/Jeanne

So it looks like it just sits over your seat, not strapped down. I wonder if you will slide around on the seat ? I have never had a cover like this.. Fred, Thanks for the info.

Thanks Fred ... I had one just like this I got in South Dakota when I went to Sturgis in 07 ... I cut it up to fit a Gold Wing ... gonna be great to have a new one ... ordered it in Taupe ... $69.90 shipped to Colorado.
Hoping that's the taupe ... LOL ...
And Jack ... the other one I had did not slide around ... maybe when I was getting on the bike/trike ... just stood on the pegs ... centered it again and all was good. My last one was white ... Hoping the taupe will hide dirt better ...

Very nice in the summer ... also great in the winter ... just take it off in the rain ... which is why I like the just sit on the seat kind ... I will have to put a hole in it to allow the back rest.
Me either so I guess I'll have a little checking around. I read somewhere if it has a rough underside it will stay put on the seat. For me I will do some sort of securement just to make it an issue if left unattended. I don't want to give someone an easy opportunity to go bad. I'm sure it's not Rocket Science to attach straps of some sort that can be undone if need be.Travel safe Fred

Just the appearance of difficulty in taking the sheepskin is worth it, not a quick snatch and run so to speak. More for my own peace of mind than most likely anything. Here is another company that makes sheepskin covers with straps and will have a hole cut for the backrest. I have one and it is quality and fits my trike perfectly.

Yes I looked at those but I enjoy the challenge of doing my own. The time and about $5 bucks in materials and you have it the way you want it. I can use the money saved for other Harley needs Thanks for the input. Ride safe Fred
