A good morning to everyone. It has taken me some time to find notes and things of my past dealing with my front end project. I have found most of it, I think, LOL.
My drawings did not come out in the scanner, so no picture to share...... .
My dilemma is that my front shock absorber will be off center of the fork tube center line. My rocker is 1/8 of a inch from center line. The eye of the shock is 5/8" wide and so is the fork tab the axle hole is through.
So I can put a 1/8th inch spacer down on the longer bolt that mounts the lower eye to the rocker arm, or I can make the upper eye mount offset from center so that the shock is perpendicular to the lower eye mount too the rocker, this would eliminate the need of a lower spacer at the rocker and should provide a better fit, at least I think so.
What do you have to say, offset the top bracket, or keep top on center line and use a 1/8th inch spacer on the lower eye at the rocker ? Help
