Why thank you Doug!
Thanks Bill...
Yeah, don't I wish lol, just add 16.50 to that plus shipping ... still not a bad deal. The Queen was $25, which was a steal for the age of knife and condition of knife.
Looking forward to getting that Russlock, it's an older Sheppard Hill limited edition

You've got some beautiful Case knifes Bill, have you recently acquired them?

These are from "The Collection". The Copperlock was from the first batch and the other two were from the second batch (same time you got yours).
By the way, the Jack was $37.50.
There are two of the same vintage on eBay now for $175 to $249. I didn't do too bad either.

This knife thing is good. I did pick up 2 knives for me, one for the brother in law, one for the son in law, one for the future in law. Pictures to follow. Still have not found the buck knives, maybe soon.

Wow, I had to search for this thread, seems like it's been a little while...
Come on Jim, I know that there's a few that you want to show us
Bill??? ....
Well with my day off and the majority of my honey do's done, my attention turned to my treasures...
So I wanted to give you my first impression of the Russlock. With the unique opening lever I found it challenging to open it one handed. I thought to myself, what's the trick... and turned to YouTube for the how to. After some practice I can do it, but found my own way after trial and error.
It's a beautiful knife and a really nice addition to the stash. Here are the pictures out if the mail. I've got to polish the engraved bolsters, other than that it's ready to go.
My other father's day gift will be a show box for all the bargain knives I've picked up over the last month from Ebay. Michele is tired of seeing them lined up on my dresser, and they do get dusty from being out in the open. Found a cheap one on Amazon, and it's on the way.

Nice Case knife Randall. Never saw one of those.

Very nice Randall.

Damn, that's nice. I love the color and the engraving.
I know you said it was a limited edition, but I don't remember for what. Is it really practical or just novel?
Looks like a liner lock. It wouldn't be good for a lefty. Wouldn't you have to use the right thumb for a one hand close?

Nice looking knife but I'm not a fan of that kind of opener though. Guess you got to take the good with the bad.
The only reason some people are still alive is it's illegal to shoot them.

Thank you Bill, it's a 2013 limited edition (#28 of 100 ) production run, antique jigged Brazilian cattle bone with etched bolsters.
Is it practical? ....probably not, it's definitely not a southpaw knife. More like a love it or hate it deal
The lever protrudes when closed so it looks neat but not pocket friendly I suppose as for an EDC.
Yes, the liner lock is a challenge when closing with one hand, therefore I use two and it works out for me. The thumb is a little sore from the pressure needed to close, but it's a new knife, with use I'm sure it would be a little easier.
Just a neat knife to play with...
