Who is going to 2020 daytona bike week

Who all is going to the 2020 Daytona Bike Week. Friday March 6th to Sunday March 15th. I am looking to set up a ride if we can get enough bikes. I also have a lot of parking at my shop for trailers and 4 wheelers if some need a place to park for the week or just a few days. Let me know and I can start setting up something.

My sons and I are meeting in Fredericksburg VA and riding down. We reserved an Air BnB last Jan near Daytona. We’re also taking a few days to ride to MM 0 in Key West. What a blast.

Peter, I’m not going to bike week, but I’ll be there in October for biketoberfest, the crowds are a lot smaller and the weather is usually better.

Steve, I will be around during biketoberfes, I go to the speedway during Bike Week to check out the vendors and maybe one ride to the beach. I do like to get a group to do a nice ride.

I have been to the Keys several times on my Trike and 2 wheels

I hit the toll road way before Miami to avoid all the Clowns and stop and go traffic Right now is High Season in the Keys, expect to pay more for lodging

Nope. Looking forward to a new ride. We have all day, sons are riding their baggers, DIL are riding their Buells, and momma and me on the Tri. Should be a fun day.

If I was going I would trailer down to Miami and ride from there. I have a safe place in Hialeah I can park the trailer.

At the speed US 1 will be going you're going to have the best ride of the group. The traffic will be heavy and the two wheelers are going to want to crank on the throttle. Just sit back and enjoy the ride and view. If you get in a hurry you can lose your mind on that road. It's one of those that when you finally get to a passing zone there is ALWAYS someone coming the other way.

I have been to the keys many times. When you get to Key West go to Hogfish Bar and grill or Pepe's , Their more a local places than a tourist spots and IMO the best food around.

Marathon fL is 47 miles north of Key West and has some of the best fishing charters in the Keys.

Never been only because we had a condo in PC so we have done Thunder Beach since the beginning...gave the condo up and camping with the toy hauler this year at Thunder Beach for the last time...next year it's all about Daytona...can't wait for the change...

Went Saturday for the day with a group of 6 other bikes. Three hours there and over 5 hours to get back to Venice because Interstate 4 was closed due to an accident.

Wife and I went to Daytona yesterday then over to Rossmeyer's on 95 It was our first time to Daytona Bike Week, I thought there would be alot more people there. Great ride from Ocala and great weather.

Hasn't the Covid-19 virus hit Florida yet? No one cancelled the rally?????

It not only has hit Florida, it was confirmed present at Daytona over a week before the end and they still didn't cancel anything. There was very little testing being done in Florida until the last couple of days and now they are getting drive-thru locations set up.

There are only 160 confirmed cases in Florida right now with 5 deaths. Many places down here are not taking it seriously. I'm guessing in the next couple of weeks you will see this thing explode in Florida.

I am really surprised they have not shut down the beaches, resorts and bars to stop the spread.

Gary, I'm betting there are hundreds or maybe even thousands of the spring breakers heading back your way this week. Our Governor should have closed all the beaches, bars, and restaurants 2 weeks ago IMHO. He left it up to locals and of course they weren't about to cut things off during their biggest money making part of the year.

Just like the Daytona Bike Week attendee from New York that flew down and brought the virus with him. I guess he wasn't taking things too serious and certainly didn't want to inconvenience himself by changing his plans. I'm guessing him and his fellow New Yorkers are taking it serious now that one person every hour is dying from the virus in his city. Probably by the end of the weekend that number could double in New York City.
