Sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my mom in Aug from cancer and even though she was 85 it was a tough road to ride. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. No one should have to go thru that now adays.

Hi Fred. Things are not going well. My mom doesn’t know what’s going on. She told all of us kids dad was in surgery. We were all upset and worried all day but it turned out he just had a colonoscopy.

The doctors asked her to come to the hospital today to chat. They don’t think dad would make it through another surgery. Dad wants to do it though. I’m waiting to hear what they decide.

I understand it gets to a point where you become the adult and they well you know. We are at that point with Jeanne's mom. Jeanne takes care of all of mom's meds and appointments. I pray all works out for you and the family. Travel safe Fred/Jeanne

Just wanted to update this thread. Dad is out of surgery. They think they got all the cancer . He’ll be recovering in the hospital for a couple of days but all is well.
