Got a lead on a set of Cobra exhaust pipes that will fit an '05 Goldwing. Wondering if MT alters the OEM exhaust in any fashion with their trike kit. My trike kit was installed in 2006, it's a solid axle.

I have a VTX solid axle MT kit, and with the solid axle there is no way a stock exhaust fits. Will be posting soon, but I had to make a system to fit. The system that came with the trike was custom also, and poorly made. The system they based it on was a Cobra system, and I did use the Cobra head pipes back to the passenger footpegs.
Hopefully a MT GoldWing owner gives you better news!
Purchased Dec 2019 * 2006 Honda VTX 1800 with solid axle Motortrike Conversion. * Color: Y181P Challenger Brown Metallic * Seats: VTX 1800 Big Boy Seat, Passenger Seat, Driver Backrest and Sissy Bar Pad from Ultimate Seats * Exhaust: SUPER quiet hidden pipes, quad 6" baffles, 51mm DB killers
I have an '08 MT conversion - stock exhaust. Dunno why you'd need to replace that; my fits just fine. YRMV.
I know sometimes the trike kits came with adaptor pipe sections bent to relocate OEM mufflers, some even came with new mufflers. I looked yesterday, I didn't have literature on these.

Thanks for the info, it looks like the deal fell through. Responded to ad in another forum, OP hasn't responded to anyone in over a week. Frustrating!
