Nope. My body cant take the beatings anymore and cost to get it to where you can stand to ride it would cost a fortune.
Maybe one day I will get the 96 DFT conversion pulled out of the corner and refurb it .

Nope, way too much money. Been riding a 1986 Electraglide with a Lehman Tour conversion for several years now. After a few changes to accommodate some physical maladies and a new stereo (not sure why I bothered), I have it just the way I like it. And besides, it has something the new ones don't. A clear title.
PEACE and ride safe!

Nope I don’t think I’ll ever buy a new trike from any manufacturer.
and it’s not because of price or quality it’s just I find myself riding my trike less and less as the years go by…

I bought my current 14 TG with 30000 miles on it and Mrs Notgrownup and I like it but are not die hard riders. Rode it 4 hours Sunday and really still love it . Now that I’ve swapped the shocks for 14” Pro Action and replaced the fork fluids with a bit heavier than stock and built myself a trailer we can do more with it. I pretty much work on it myself. Still have my 07 Flhtc so I can still ride 2 wheels when I want. Don’t see the need for new or even newer for now but retirement is about 6 years away… never say never. I like that I can easily get service and buy parts for it being All HD. Ride is really smoother with the better shocks. Way better.

2021 Tri Glide Ultra Vivid Black with some Farkles.
Never really even considered buying a tri glide! Had my 2012 paid off and wanted the IS instead of the solid axle so aftermarket was the only way for me to go.
2012 Ultra Limited with RoadSmith trike conversion
Was in a dealership last Thursday buying another waterpump cover (4th One) and they had a used 2021 CVO Trike on the floor. Took a quick look on my way to the parts counter and the salesman that sold me my 17 trike came up and ask if I wanted to trade and I told him NO. It had just over 12K miles and a few extras and it was priced at $52,000.

Sure, if I needed one. I've never been one to flit between vehicles. I rode my '78 Shovel for 33 years. My daily driver is still my '99 Jeep. My '21 Freewheeler suits me just fine. If I were in the market they'd be top of my list.
Ya know I new to the site and have been taking in lot of the comments on buying new Tri Glide. Couldn't agree more to the guys are saying over priced. Yeah they are getting high but being a little savy might be the answer to some. I've ridden two wheelers all my life up till 5 years ago and had to park two wheelers cause of hip replacement. Friend of mine told me you'll either love them or hate them cause they are 100% different than what you are use to. So thought well if I can find one well maintained in nice shape if it don't work out shouldn't loose the farm.
After lookin at lot trikes on Craigs List and Ebay and Harley Dealers found 09 low miles at a Harley dealer on consignment that they originally sold to customer. It was a keeper and I did for 5years and then decided to upgrade. Looked for 19 and up at dealers with in 200 miles of my location. Found quite a few and one that slipped through the cracks. So back to lookin...found 21 less than 200 miles few xtras.
Priced way less than a new one but this was just like new and I'm dam particular bout my vehicles. So I hooked up my 14' enclosed trailer and headed for " TIOGA COUNTY HARLEY-DAVIDSON " in Mansfield,Pa. The Tri Glides and other bikes are out there but ya got dig and ask questions. If there's maintance records it taken off list right now....
Just my 2cents worth
Long time ago, I pulled into a gas station on a Goldwing Aspencade. Due to traffic, I had to step off of it. No problem, I was young and strong.
Fast forward many years, I had to step off of my 2012 Electra Glide Classic at a Stop Sign. Big problem. I had to have help to lift it.
I was scared every time I rode, that I would pull up to a Stop Sign and have to step off for some reason. Without a passenger to help, that would be a big problem.
I really liked my 2 wheeler, but a soft tail standard it was not. I used my 2012 as a trade in.
I am a brand new Freewheeler owner.
After seeing prices, used or build one. Same with any new car. Ouch
Not now. I had a 16 Tri. Liked it, so decided on a new Tri in 2020. 16 had 47k on it in 3 seasons . Got the 20 as getting older decided the 20 was a better engine . Boy was I right . Much more power than the 16 & smoother tranny. Last Tri as older still. If younger would get another new in a few more years.

Not unless they go to independent rear suspension. No need to get the same old servi-car suspension technology I already have.

I bought a new `22 Tri Glide in Janurary.
Why? Because I wanted a trike, and I can afford it at this stage of my life.
It shares the garage with a 1989 Heritage Softail Classic (bought new), and a 2019 Electra Glide Standard, and more tools and spare parts than I care to count.

I went through this process last year.
- Harley doesn't have IRS. I don't need a trike that rides like a truck.
- Harley doesn't offer an aux gas tank. With my aux tank I have run 225 miles nonstop at 80 mph while pulling a 22 cubic foot trailer and I still had an indicated 60 miles left! Lets see a Tri Glide do that....
- Full, weight bearing running boards. Why doesn't Harley offer them?
- Trailer hitch that is a built in part of the trike frame, not an after markey bolt on piece.
IMO there is no contest between a Harley Tri Glide and a top shelf custom trike.
I know exactly what you are talking about.
Was on a trip this week and ran across one of the Directors from HD. He took a look at my trike. We talked about why HD does not offer an independent suspension plus a few other things. Who knows, maybe they will someday. If they do, I suspect they will rule the market, including the warranty.
