There is a Walmart 18 miles from me, it says it has 4 bottles left, thought about driving there but it has said that for the last 4 days so I'm sure it is not right, IMHO Walmart web site sucks, they don't update like they should, when I went shopping during senior hour Tues the night before said my bread was out of stock, go figure, it wasn't plus a few other brands that said out of stock which wasn't true.

As for toilet paper they had a incident here awhile back around 50 miles SW of me at a dollar general store, a guy pulled a gun on a man over toilet paper, he thought he was taking to much I guess, really can't remember the whole story, the article said they was thinking of charging the man with the gun, don't know if they did or not, but I do know I wouldn't be pulling a gun on somebody over toilet paper, for cying out loud, what is this world coming to.

There are four Walmart stores within 50 miles of me. Two are in rural communities, one 21 miles to the east and one 30 miles north. The other two are in the larger populated Texarkana Arkansas & Texas metro area 40 miles west. The online stock status is usually more accurate for the rural stores, I suspect that due to the amount of traffic at the metro stores, more effort is placed on getting product on the shelves, than updating the network with accurate inventory balances. Management likely focuses on their sales numbers and allocate their resources likewise. Their attitude may be, get it on the shelves and let "first come first served" take care of availability.

Not really a doom and gloom kind of person. But when I first became aware of the panic buying of large numbers of guns and ammo online, and at brick and morter stores. I told my kids and close friends to be very much aware that there are now a lot of panicky and frustrated individuals out there with more guns in their homes, likely in their cars and carried on their person. Many of these are new gun owners that have little to no training on safety and correct operation of firearms. We also know that many of them are likely to be half a bubble off plumb!

Their levels of frustration and anxiety will further escalate soon, as they begin to realize they now have large amounts of much needed dollars (spent as cash or credit charges which are now becoming due) and for many there's no income due to job furloughs or business shut downs. Pawn Shops will not be a viable solution to get immediate cash, as they will become saturated with new used guns as well as ammo. It's going to be a sobering reality to an awfully lot of people who are already teetering on the edge!!

Hopefully, the situation you described isn't a sign of unpleasant and dangerous behaviors to come.
