I looked into the new one that the Harley mechanic that blogs uses ... by time you get the things you will need, it's way more expensive. It's the 360 something ... anyway, I like the GoPro, had like 4 of them. I currently have two hero 5's, one front and one back. I stick with the GoPro's because they work, and all my accessories from the hero 1, still work with the 5. especially the remote. I allows me to start and stop both cameras at once.
Not sure you can beat them for the money. They are now waterproof so no bulky case anymore. Good stability control. Good exposure control. Works with almost any size sd card, I use 32 gig. A battery lasts about an hour - an hour and a half. Does movies, photos, so, when you jus want a photo, works well. Wide angle view so as you record, you get pretty much what you see.
