Stan a trike that old and that many miles it is hard to establish a fair price. basically it is what a willing buyer is willing to pay. I would not be surprised if it is under 10k.Originally Posted by grumpy

I will agree with Gorilla and add that what area your in will make a difference also.I have seen 1500s advertised for 10-13k in my area.I've also seen 1800s at 12k.I don't know what any of these sold for.Mine's an 89 with a 13 Champion kit and about 75k miles and i think 8-10 k is its range.

Like already said, area, condition, the buyers impressions will all play a part, but a '95 with 117,xxx miles on a Lehman …. $10,000 is the high end. If needing to sell, might need to drop into the $8,000 range. It's a cold place out there.
The '95 part or 117,xxx miles just mean it's a 20+ year old Gold Wing trike. Miles aren't too many, and I still say a 1500 makes a tip top trike, and I love the Lehman GTL, still think it's one of the nicest looking trikes, but most people don't look at a purchase as long term, they worry about value next year. If I rode a $40,000 new trike, I wouldn't enjoy it one bit more than my '97.
I know a fellow with north of $35,000 in his 1800, been trying to sell it for 4 or 5 years, doesn't ride, will not come off the price either. To me, that's a burden.
I also know of a really nice '03 1800 with all the bells & whistles sold for $10,500, and that took awhile. Buyer got a super deal in my mind, but then... it was a Champion.

There is a 1996 GL 1500 trike for sale in my neck of the woods. It's really nice with lots of goodies. Last summer, a friend of mine asked me to go with him and test ride it for him. The thing ran very well, like I would expect for a 24 year old GL 1500. I got on the ground and checked for leaks, nada looked at brakes, etc. all good. Very clean machine.
The guy was asking $11k. I told my buddy that was a tad high. He offered $9K. The guy was offended by the offer and told him to get lost. My friend found a nice 03 GL1800, which he bought. I saw the 95 trike last weekend with a for sale sign saying $6995 of best offer. Been for sale on and off for about a year.
It's gonna depend of your local, are there lots of trikes around for sale? Is your area big on Hondas? In my neck of the woods, there are huge numbers of Harley's, then a lot of Hondas and not much else.
Like Gorilla said, It's worth what someone will pay. You may put it up for sale for $14k and within minutes a buyer will fall in love with it, or, put it up for $5k and not get a sniff.
No blue book for an item like that. You can base your asking on NADA for the bike end plus maybe half of a trike kit. Not sure that is gonna be fair or where you want it to be. The thing I would remember, fix a price, but, don't be offended with an offer you feel is a low ball. Counter Offer, you have nothing to loose.
Unfortunately, with all the GL1800's out there, GL1500's are not drawing attention they once did. Even the pre 2010's GL1800's are not. And that's my favorite years.
In 2016 after the Bankruptcy I picked up a really nice 1995 GL1500 for $2800. My plan was to trike it. I did some math and even doing the kit install myself (not sure how that would of gone) it was not really worth triking, unless I was gonna keep it forever. Ended up fixing a few things and still loosing money on it, sold it for $2700.
just bought mine last week. 97 GL 1500 with Champion trike kit,86k miles came with a trailer,he was asking for $8500,i got it for $7k,needs a little polishing up and the cloth seat had a rip.Everything works including the cassette player
It definitely depends on the area where you're selling it. I see them on CycleTrader.com for prices that seem outrageous. I traded in my '97 with a Roadsmith and 53,000 miles last year to a dealer in Alabama for a '17. Dealer put it on his website for $10,000 and it was gone in a week. In Massachusetts the riding season is relatively short so the demand is probably less than warmer areas. Mostly Harley TriGlides and CanAms when it comes to trikes. Almost impossible to find a dealer who does conversions so that tells me there isn't much call for them around here. I'm pretty sure if I had tried selling it locally for 10k I'd still own it. Couldn't even get the local bike shop to work on a GL1500 anymore.

Can’t really help because I just bought my first. 95 with 129k and I have no idea of the conversion. That’s why I’m on here. Mine has some minor cosmetic issues but a great runner, I gave 7500.
Not sure if your still selling, but I just bought my 98 valkyrie 1500 with 22000 miles for $8900. Has a motortrike with Corbin seat. Needed some tires and cleaning, but nice. Not IRS. Bummer. Love it.
