Wow, that brings back some memories ... when I was doing Nuclear Repair, my boss, the Admiral insisted, I call the second we finished a job .... I was always on the 1900-0700 shift, that's when all the work got done because there was no Looky Loos. Anyway, when I would sign for the completion, I would call the admiral, usually around 0300 ... even if the job finished around 2300 (took me awhile to review all the paperwork, dad always said, "the job isn't done until the paperwork was."), and play him a recording of that ... got to where he would listen to about as much of the song as is played in that clip and hang up. He finally told me I could just tell him in the morning ...
Primary oil change with extended floorboards
This is just some information.
A week ago I installed the extended floorboard kit from DK Customs. Yes I encountered the "difficult to remove" bolts as others have mentioned although apparently not as difficult as others have encountered.
This weekend I did a 3 hole oil change. I noticed the parking brake cable now runs directly under the drain plug on the primary case. There is enough slack in the cable to move it aside a bit for getting a socket on the plug for removal but not enough slack to get the cable cleanly out of the path of the draining oil. I let the oil dribble over the parking brake cable and cleaned it afterward.
