Hi all, looking to get input from riders for rain gear that will keep you totally dry from the elements , I've heard Frogg Toggs are good but would really like to hear from others Thanks in advance.

I have a very old Himalaya Motorbike Wear Rain Suite (2pc) that still works well, but wearing the jacket during long summer rides in the rain would get warmer than I preferred. So I bought a Cabela's Rain Swept Jacket with 4MOST REPEL (waterproof fabric with a water-repellent treatment). The jacket keeps me dry, but also has a mesh lining that promotes air movement underneath, which keeps me comfortable when its fully zipped in hot weather. It also has a hide-away hood in the collar if needed.
So during hot weather rain showers I use the rain suit bottom, Cabela's Rain Swept Jacket, and a pair of Rain Gaiters as needed

I have a very old Frog Toggs set with the Hog Togg Heat Shields sewn on. They keep me dry and cool in warmer temps. For cold weather, I have a set of waterproof snow pants that I need to get the heat shields sewn in. My seamstress is planting her garden, she'll get them done before it gets cold again. I've been wrapping the right leg as needed with aluminum foil ... LOL.
As for the top, I've been playing around with layers. I have a lightweight HD waterproof jacket, a quilted liner and an electric jacket liner. The combo keeps me really warm, no mater the temp. If we get big rain, I still put the frog togg set over the whole mess ... LOL .. I look like an umpa lumpa, but, I'm warm and dry ... .
I also have electric gloves.
