    What are you guys using for a calibration number? Something like 2455 to 2465? Shop did a reflas of mine and may have used a 2 wheeler call.

    With Power Vision you can recalibrate your speedometer. After the reflash, mine is reading almost 10 mph high.

    I believe the default number for my Tri is 2452 ... I think that works for Tri's between 14-16 ... can't speak to the newer ones.

    I spent many hours playing with this "calibration" ... talk about "tilting at windmills" or going down "rabbit holes".The function is not linear, at least when "fine tuning" it. The closest I ever got was 0.1 miles off on a 10 mile test. Or 1% off. That was on my 15 tri. Never could get it closer to that, a single number change made it go from 1% high to 1% low ... drove me insane.

    When I purchased the 14 tri and started with the power vision tuning, I downloaded a tune from Dyno Jet they provided for my specific configuration. 2014 Wet Head, 103 cu in, de catted head pipe, HD stage one air cleaner, fuel Moto e-series slip ons. Anyway, I did a bunch of auto tuning and realized the trike was running as well as I could expect.

    Next step was to get the speedo calibrated. I ran into some, let's say improvements in the Dyno Jet "canned tunes" they offered. The most notable was that they were leaving the speedometer numbers alone. I can't remember, but, it was either set as blank or to 0. A little red flag started waving in my brain so I contracted them and asked about it. Basically what they said was by leaving the number blank or 0 (again can't remember what it was), the ecm defaulted to the HD setting what ever that is. Turns out the speedo was within 1% of both the GPS & the "mile markers" on a 10 mile ride, so I avoided messing with it.

    A little warning, if you have one of the Dyno Jet or other tune that has 0 or a blank in the speedo adjustment, and you change it, you can never go back to the 0 or blank. Dyno Jet has written into the WinPV's software a minimum number you can put in there, 900 I think. Learned that the hard way.

    I was lucky, because I also learned the hard way, when "playing with the PV settings":

    1) do 1 thing at a time.

    2) back up, backup, backup.

    So, if your auto tuning ... auto tune, but leave everything else alone. When I came to calibrating the speedo, I made a copy of my best auto tune, changed the number for the speedo and tested. I was able to go back to the 0 or blank, from my backup. Hope that makes sense ... undoubtably my thought process is flawed right now.

    I'm fairly certain the 2452 number gets you really close. I believe that is what Dyno Jet was using before they went to the blank or 0. It should get your really close. I can't be positive, but for the two wheeler's I think it's 2153.

    I got a map from Jamie at FM for the 20 tri, stock improved, 2462 Pulses per km, for the speedo cal. Note that I have not used it yet, but I did send him the calibration info for the bike..

    Additional note, when comparing to a touring bike cal to the trike, both 20’s the 2 wheel map Speedo cal is 2100, vs 2462 for the trike. Additionally the gear ratios for both calibrations are the same. Best bet is to call Dynojet of FM to get the right number for your bike.

    When I bought my power vision from fuel moto with the improved stock tune, I did some driving around town and highway and recorded the speed and what the rpm's was so when I got the power vision and installed it and then went driving it and basically my speed and rpm's was the same as I had wrote down before the power vision, I was happy and the improved tune did help out, noticed a slight decrease in gas mileage but otherwise happy, this was on my 2016 trike and like a fool I let it go with the 2016, not sure if I will get one for the 2018, happy the way it runs now.

    Sorry I can't help you on your question, but I would think it would not be that far out or maybe call fuel moto, I'm sure they could answer it for you, great people, maybe Kevin will see this and offer some advice.

    Default 2462 for 2016 TGU

    For my 2016 TGU the good number is 2462. I played with this several years ago with my PV and ended up with 2462. It is pretty much dead on when checked with my iPhone and Garmin XT GPS.
    16 TGU Mysterious Red / Velocity Red. FM Ceramic Head pipe and FM E-Series tunable exhaust. PV Target Tune-AT WB Tuner. DK Outlaw 606 AC with EBS, Ward’s FCS fans. DK Custom Oil filter/Cooler relocation kit, Comfort Lift and 14 inch shocks. DK tank lift, wind deflectors, floorboard extenders, and tour pak relocator. Chrome TGU wheels. Bad Ass Lights tail lights. Lighted controls and Krome Works 2+2 narrow handle bars.

    Thanks all for the help. I averaged all the cals I found and used 2458, so I am probably within 1 mph.
