When I had my TG in the shop for the front fork rebuild and a new tire they called and told me that my front pads were near gone.
Of course they did not have pads in stock and could not give me a warm fuzzy about when they could get them I told them I would take care of it.
I replace all the pads front and back with EBC HH pads at 36500 miles and it now has about 49700 on it.
I pulled the front pads and sure enough they are almost gone on both the right and left side, check the back and they are still good.
I have notice the brakes dragging a few times but it always went away and didn't do it for quite a while.
I find it hard to believe that both calipers would start hanging up at the same time but I guess it could happen.
One thought I had is the the holes in the pads that the lower bolt goes through seem to be awful tight (I can hardly to get the bolt to go through 1 pad when not in the caliper) and may be causing the pads to get wedged when applied and then would work their way back out.
Any ideas will be appreciated.
I do have new EBC pads on the way that should be here tomorrow and am contemplating reaming the holes out some if they are just as tight.
Thanks
Bob
