Good luck Scooter, I didn't have any luck getting them off with body on.

I agree. I looked at the top mounts with the seat off. There is maybe 1/4" clearance. Oh, well. new adventures in store for me.

Do not be afraid to remove the body. You may need someone to help lift it off. You will find build instructions on the champion web site. If your bolts are in a tunnel, take the bolt and weld or lock nut, a fender washer and thin bicycle type wrench to the bolt so it can not spin around while you tighten it from below.
