Its been too cold for me to put them on plus I want the adhesive and tape to adhere correctly. So I am waiting for warmer weather before I install mine..The color looks like a perfect match..Its going to take some time to install after reading the install instructions.
One last thing if anyone is going to install the Legend air suspension or already has it installed the compressor that mounts under the bike may need to be relocated
I just installed the Legend Air Suspension, but in a different place which ment making a hole new mounting bracket, now I don't need to worry about the dirty wet roads. I mounted mine in the trunk on the right side next to a mounting bolt. There are two recessed places in the trunk that have two of eight mounting bolts. The one on the left has a ground strap attached to the mounting bolt and the right just the mounting bolt. And it shouldn't be in the way of packing the belongings. Here are a few pic's of my work.

Looks great.. were the wires long enough to reach from the handle bars back to the truck??
I installed a toggle switch in the dash in place of the bar mounted switch. It was my understanding that the reverse switch had to be moved to the right side of the handle bar and the air switch mounted on the left side of the handle bar so elected to put a toggle switch in the dash. Now I see Legend's video is showing them mounting their air suspension switch on the right side of the handle bar. So I should of watch their video first, o'well it works. The mounting bracket is made out of 3/16th aluminum.

Getting back to running boards, I am getting mine on this morning. Will try to post pics, altho I don't know how, but if I can't, Nana, can I email them to you?
Just got back from getting them on! Took dealer 5 hours, only charged for 3 hours. They look awesome and the dealership took pics. Also, in some way, makes the trike seem quieter from the cockpit!:woohoo:
Can't wait to see pictures of them mounted on Tri-Glide, I imagine if you have to do any work like adj' chains or similiar work, they'll have to come off, don't know for sure though....
If they mount similar to the Champion boards the left side will have to be removed if you ever need to remove the primary cover. You still have access to the clutch inspection cover for primary oil changes.
The critical part of the installation is making sure you have the mating surfaces between the boards and rear fender perfectly aligned and clamped in place before drilling the mounting holes in the fender.......assuming they mount the same as the Champion boards.
Are the boards for the Tri-Glide weight bearing?
I am going to call Monday for the weight limit these can take. Pictures to come next week, I hope.
