The Work Continues
She has taken to chewing on the corners of the throw rugs. Unlike the Dums, I am not standing for her destroying the joint. At first I thought about removing the throw rugs, but, I like them and they keep me from slipping on the floors ... so, I've got the corners covered with heavy stuff which has deterred her from chewing up the rugs ... but also made my room a bit of an obstacle course.
But, the perks are worth it ...

+1 on the Bitter Apple or something similar. You also might try keeping her chew toys in the freezer or frig and give her one when she starts the chewing anywhere...the coolness feels good on those teething gums.

Put a few chews in the freezer ... will try anything once ... twice if it works ... three times if it doesn't (Marriage ... although that's not fair ... I Loved being married ... just really hated divorce)

Kira has a very sophisticated palette ... she prefers my right forearm ... although, she's getting better.All my dogs loved to chew. I found giving them an old leather belt kept them busy so they stopped chewing on other things in the house

You are the man ... my Bitter Apple arrived today (Amazon was the only place I could get it ... Happy Valley has three pet shops and all of them said it was "puppy season" and they were sold out) ... first thing I did was to trim the damage and spritz the carpet corner with it, she ran over took a sniff and ran away ... hasn't been near it since.
Time will be the test ... got big hopes for it. Thanks for the Tip
