Try the air hawk inflatable seat cushion. Works well
As mentioned above the air hawk, quite a few on here like the sheepskin and that seems to help. Or you can send your seat to Mean City Cycles and have the seat redone with added foam or have a gel insert, give them a call and talk to them. There are quite a few choices to make it comfortable and it is up to you how much you want to spend, some just buy a different seat, your option.
All for now Trampas
Johnny do a search on Harley Davidson seats on this forum. This subject has had a lot of discussion. I like my sheet skin covered Air Zeppelin seat on my 2013 TRI.

I've had an Air Hawk for several years. I've used it on two bikes. For a low dollar investment it's a great place to start. Lots less expensive than a $950 seat and I can literally ride all day in comfort.
I'm not trying to be rude here, but I've spent a lot of money on things for the bike that ended up being no better than the stock option, and in some cases even worse.

Sheep skin great inexpensive place to start. I use just a sheep pad works for me. I believe it's from Alaska leather got it at americade few years back.
I have a Russell Day Long and still use a dead sheep. That should tell you something.
The only reason some people are still alive is it's illegal to shoot them.

On my Freewheeler, I installed the HD sundowner Tallboy seat & really like it. The Tallboy model was just because the Freewheeler OEM seat pushed me forward. On my ride to Durango, CO and back last year, I did not think about the seat at all, even on a 650 mile day!
That's the mark of a good seat. I actually wanted a Saddleman or Mustang seat, but spent the saving on other goodies.
The Airhawk seat is a great idea that wont break the bank.

thanks for all the tip will try the air hawk
The Air Hawk takes VERY LITTLE air to make it cushy... too much and it is hard as a rock. Love mine..had it since 2008. Bought the large cruiser.
Just bought the large pillion size (which they don’t seem to make anymore..just the small) from a friend .. just to have on other seats.

IMHO the Air Hawk or get pad is second best(each pad adds at least an inch to the stock seat height). I don't like the thought that some a$$hole could rip it off if you don't take it off every time you stop. I have had the Road Zeppelin air seat since 2000 and would never own a bike without it. When I did the Saddlesore 1000 (registration #61162) a few years ago I bought a beaded seat pad (like truckers and cab drivers use (how could they be wrong) and have used that combo ever since - nothing can beat that set up.
I do take the beaded pad off for winter riding - the boys freeze if I don't - fantastic air circulation. LOL
In my opinion a regular static seat, stock or aftermarket, does little for comfort on long distance trips because the pressure points never change unlike the Road Zeppelin seat. Yes the RZ seat cost a bit more, but my complete comfort is well worth it.
Besides unless the store will refund your money after a month or so (that's how long it takes to really know if the seat is right for you) it can get pretty costly finding the right seat by trial and error. Just saying.

I have a HD Hammock seat that worked well for my wife and I. Unfortunately she can no longer ride and I just sold the 2015 Tri Glide.
The Hammock seat (pn 52000176) is still here. I bought it in 2017. Anyone interested, pm me.

I have the Airhawk & it is ok but not for me, so something else to throw on the shelf, I guess. Ordered an RZ so I can adjust on the fly.

I have the Airhawk and the Alaska butt pad but the stock seat was about as good to me as they were. Also used the truckers beads and think they actually helped as well or better than the others. Just bought a Hammock seat at a garage sale so I will try it out this week.
