Your opinions would be appreciated

Hey Mike! Welcome to TrikeTalk from the Texas Hill Country!

You might want to post this question over in one of the forums here on TrikeTalk, like...

...Homebuilt Trikes

...Outrigger Trikes

...Other Trikes

Let us know what you decide... these guys love “ build” projects.

Welcome to the Gang from Western Colorado.

One thing that seems to resonate with almost every trike rider ... More Power! ... LOL ... you got a beast, if you make it a trike you won't have that issue.

I can't speak to other issues that might rear their ugly heads as I've never built a trike. I have seen many good looking Frankenstein trikes. I guess my only concern would be the same ones I would have with souping up a car ... Is the rest of the car/trike able to handle the increased power.

I think I'd do some research, reach out to conversion manufacturers and tell them what you need/want. Maybe a conversion that would work could be available, maybe it would be cost preventative, seriously, if you have a huge bag of money to spend, anything is possible.

After that, you can make an informed decision.

Mike, Welcome to Trike Talk from West Virginia.:wave4:

Hi-performance motorcycles are not considered reliable for a trike application. JMHO

Unless you just like meeting people on the side of the road while you wait for a repair, I would look for a buyer !

That is a beast of an engine for sure, what gears and clutch do you plan on running ?

Welcome to the forum from Western Pennsylvania good luck on the Hot Rod keep us posted sounds like it could be fun though. Fred

Welcome. Seems to me that one of the mfgr’s used to sell kits for sportsters. I’d go Blaine and check them out. Failing that, you could probably make an old Servicar work (1) if you can find one and (2) if you’ve got the time and $$. Good luck!
