CSC Encore DCT "kerchunk"

I have a 2019 CSC Encore conversion DCT. Occasionally on start off, on an incline, I will get a "kerchunk" as though the transmission is not fully engaged. I plan to take the bike back to the installer for repair. I was curious if anyone else has experienced this.

How many miles on your trike and has it "always" done this or is it something new that started? If it's something new either have your dealer or you check for loose hardware. I dont think the DCT will do what he is describing because if he's on a hill it should already be in gear.

Thanks for response

I have not tried DCT initialization, but I will. It has been a while since I have ridden. I will be calling CSC later. This is something I noticed about 6 months after conversion and is not a frequent thing.

Thanks for your responses.
