New trike rider, old rider.
Hello All,
I live in League City, Texas, a nice town half way between Galveston Island and Houston, along the ever under construction Gulf Freeway, I-45. I have ridden motorcycles since I was 15, and owned one continuously, except for 5 years I spent in Germany with the US Army. All my bikes have been two wheeled until I wrecked my blue 2006 Police Commemorative Road King in January of this year; some broken bones, nothing too serious. My wife of 38 years didn't want me to get another motorcycle, but we agreed on a Trike. I have a 2015 FLRT Freewheeler, black, (wish it was blue). I am completely retired now, most of my time spent with my three year old Great Grand Son. I was told that riding a trike would take some getting use to; I took to it like a duck to water, love riding it. I am currently looking for two things for the Freewheeler, rear fender bras, and auxiliary driving light mounting kit.
Wind Therapy is good for the soul.
