I just love when I'm gone for a few hours and get home, my wife opens the door and my little dog come running to meet me like I've been gone for months. So happy to see me and that happy feeling just flows over into me. Talk about a feel good feeling, that's it.

I may have spoiled her a tad when I first got her. I felt a little guilty taking her from her mom and brother. She was the first puppy I've ever had where I saw her with her mom. All my others where either from pet stores or rescues. I don't think she was away from me at all for like three or four weeks. I get that same level of excitement when I go to ge iced tea ... I have always thought that it was my responsibility to love my pets ... no matter what, because I made the decision to get them. Kira challenges that theory ... LOL ... she is on the best of days a hoot ... on the worse ... a pain in the b$tt.
This weekend she discovered that she really hates GOLF ... I think it's the bright green colors and the movement. While trying to watch the golf tournament, she barked for about an hour. The more I told her to stop, the more she barked ... she only stopped when she got tired ... LOL ... of course .. she then snuggled up to me and crashed. All forgiven.

Kira Spayed
Well ... finally got mm well enough to get Kira fixed. Today she was spayed, had a micro chip installed and got her nails done (won't be able to go to the groomers for a month.
She came through really well. She's a little tender and very tired, so she's sleeping a lot.

I had to do that to Jenny as soon as she was old enough. I knew if she had puppies I wouldn't be able to give them away.
They would have been super cute little puppies, my only grandchildren so I would not have been able to let them go.
