Muffler mod for a volusia

All the info you need. I had a '02 Suzi and did the mod to my exhaust.

I am assuming that you have the stock exhaust ???

Hi DaveD,

The mufflers installed on your Volusia kit are a diffused disc type of muffler.

One way to make them louder is to remove the end cap by taking off the chrome tip and then removing the cap. This will make it quite a bit louder.

If it is too loud you might want to repack the fiberglass inside the core of the muffler. We stock this packing if you need some.

If that is still too loud you can add a couple more diffuser discs and leave the end cap on.

any chance of telling us where we can get the diffuser disks. i would like to add a few on each side.

I found some on eBay by using “SuperTrapp disk” in the search bar. I lost half on the right side because the screws fell out.
