Anyone use a children's safety harness?

Took my 5 year old grandson for his first ride on the Tri-Glide the other day.

It was a 7 mile one way trip into town to get ice cream at a local drive in that has been around for over 50 years.

He loved it and we had no issues, but it made Nini, his mom and dad nervous and they have been looking at safety harnesses.

It got me wondering if anyone here has tried them out and could give me ideas and feedback

From the pictures I can see his feet don’t reach the floor boards not safe and in NJ not illegal ...There is a belt that you put on you it has a looped handle on each side that the child can hold on to ‘My son when he takes his daughter (s) for short rides uses one .. Still not a good idea If the child’s 🦶 feet can Not rest on the floor boards....With no way to support themselves they could slide off the seat ...

Agreed his feet do not reach the floorboards but they do reach and are on the Kuryakyn adjustable foot pegs that I put on.

I agree but then...’Again from the picture he is way forward and not Deep In/on the seat so lf you make a sudden hard turn there isn’t any side support’.. Just my opinion for what it’s worth

Not necessarily so.....But with me being Dyslexic, I never have to worry about spelling my name backwards.........

Not sure if it is legal here or not. When my daughter was about that age we were in Australia (Air Force) and she rode in front of me. The Honda bike I rode had a cross brace on the handle bars for her to hold on to. She loved it.
