Here she is .....

Nice Freewheeler and lift . . . and oh yeah I like your floor also. Seems like I've seen that somewhere else . . . oh yeah in my own garage! Good choice.

I have done very limited mods so far. Had the dealer lower the left floorboard to make it a bit easier with my stiff leg and I also had the seat padded out to raise it slightly. First job I did was to remove the hideous number plate surround ( a great big hunk of plastic ) so now I have hidden the holes under the number plate and put it directly onto the trunk. I will need to have a think about the light to illuminate the plate in 3 years time for its MOT test but it is fine for now as I don’t really ride at night. It has a stage 1 tune with V&H 4” slip ons, a better air cleaner and a FP3 tune pack. I have since removed the baffles to get a better sound and have ordered some thunder tuner inserts to try and get a nicer tone. Don’t know if they make any difference but I will give it a go.

The lift I bought from Canada as there wasn’t anything that would do the job in the UK. It not only allows me access to both sides of the trike but lifts it above my SUV so I can store one above the other :). I’m sure the mods to the trike are only the beginning lol, regards Nick

I was going to say the same about the lift. What kind is that? I'll have to do something with my lift soon.

Hi, it is from Advantage lifts in Canada and the model is ML2000. I had it shipped over which took a few weeks as I needed it to run on 240v. If i remember correctly you will have to

go to the website and then put in ML2000 into the search box otherwise it doesn't come up.

I've used it for a few years, first for my Can Am and now the Harley, its very versatile and as the name suggests has a lifting capacity of 2000 lbs or approx 900kg.

I used a wooden centre and can remove individual planks if required ThumbUp

Did you find it necessary to jack hammer out your concrete and pour a new section or did you risk with your existing concrete? I like the idea of being able to put it up and out of your way for general storage. That's the big disadvantage of my lift. It's in the way 95% of the time.

Ye i did dig out the concrete but I actually built it on a 4" plinth to give me extra clearance above my Range Rover but that mean't I had to drive the Can Am up some 5 ft long ramps but when I sold the Can Am I dug it back up again and put it at floor level which means I can use the small supplied ramps with the Freewheeler.

The area that needs to be reinforced isn't very big, maybe 2ft square (please check) and about 4-6 inches deep, not a massive job and worth the peace of mind. I have added a switch on a long lead and a nylon cord so that I can operate it both up and down at a safe distance as my garage isn't that big

Fixed ... I did notice the headlights look "different" to me ... maybe because it's not the "Domestic" version????

Thanks :), ye you are right about the "headlight", here in the UK there is just a chrome cover where the headlight would normally sit. Surprised we didn't get a crappy plastic one to match the number plate surround :D
