    Default Jack, one side up?

    Tried to raise the rear of my 08 CSC to check brake pads. Only the left side went up with the jack positioned under the diff. Got the tire off, but putting it back on was difficult because the tire is bigger than the fender opening. So, if I want both tires off the ground at the same time (to install new tires), how do I do that?

    Yes, and the jack was positioned as described by CSC directly under the center of the diff. I then moved the jack to the right of center ( still under the diff ) but same result.

    Do you have IRS or solid? Just thinking that perhaps setting your pre-load to the max might help also. Going to watch this thread. Interesting problem..... Jim

    Jack it up from the center, then slide a jack stand under the higher side (either side at the lower A-arm) while having someone holding under the fender lip with both hands on the opposite side to level it up, then jack it up enough more to slide a jack stand under the other side, then lower the jack to rest on the jack stands. It's not hard to do, I do it all the time.

    +1 That is the same way I did it with 06 Goldwing Hannigan. Just need a extra hand and is easy. Take it down the opposite of how you put it up.

    Default Off center

    I have a 07 CSC Cobra, I have to have the jack off center on the diff to raise the back up. I do not use a regular floor Jack, I use a motorcycle Jack, it has a wider platform. And obviously someone has put oversize tires on the back of your trike. I had the same problem, couldn't get the rear wheels off without a battle. Found out it has 1 size larger rear tires on it. I'm putting new tires on it this winter and will go back to original size. I was told by CSC should be 205/60 15.
