Anybody out there have this Harley Davidson Cool Flow Fan part number 26800128 installed on their Tri Glide? And if so How well do you think it works? How well do you like it?

Dumb cannot be fixed.
Now I know a lot of you will want to chime in on your opinion about the whole conversion of heat off the engines. I am just looking for opinions of those who have them installed on their Tri glides.

I can't help you on this, I have seen a few on forums that have it and not happy with it, not sure why. Basically most people go with love jugs, very popular and it works very well. It is a high price but I don't know what the price is on the harley one either and if from harley is to high priced like everything else they have.
All for now Trampas
We have tried it. It works moderately well at pulling the heat away from the passengers right leg at a stop and slow riding. We could not tell any difference once above 25 mph.
For the $ we don't like it since it only works for less than 5% of the time we are on the Trike. We returned it.

I really don't have a heat problem. The only time the heat got so unbearable was in 2010. I was on a Limited waiting to get into a McD's parking lot (with a group). We waited almost 1/2 hour and my right leg got very hot, I turned off the bike.
I don't do parades and I don't ride in stop and go traffic so I really don't need any heat reducing do-dads to all all over my bike.
The only thing I have on my TG now is a custom made leather heat deflector that sits on top of the plastic OEM heat deflector - that's it......oh, and I have floorboard extenders.

I have the cool fan on my Triglide. Doesn't do anything to cool the engine. Your money is better spent on Love Jugs.
I have one on my 17 Freewheeler. As Kevin said, it is designed to remove heat from the right ankle, indicating HD new there was an issue.
I had it installed because my son bought it for me. It does help some, but for engine cooling, I would go with Love Jugs.
All I can say about this in my never to be humble opinion is that it is a waste of $$. I've had many, many Harleys and the hottest by far were my 2007 CVO Ultra with the 110" motor and my 2011 CVO road Glide Ultra also with the 110" motor. Those two bikes caused us intolerable anxiety and discomfort on hot days.
My 2012 CVO Ultra, my 2017 CVO Limited, my 2018 TG and now my 2020 TG don't give me or my co-rider any problem at all with excessive heat. They are warm, yes, but a problem big enough to do something about, no.
IMO Harley has done a masterful job of keeping the riders cool enough to enjoy the ride. Now is the motor itself so hot it needs attention? Well that's an entirely different discussion and one I'm not competent to engage in.

To Go to McD's That's SAD
That is sad, McDonald’s is not that good anymore, and definitely not worth waiting for, but we all grew up on Big Macs.

We don't notice bad heat on the 2020. I sold the Love Jugs from the 16. All we have on the 20 are floorboard extenders & the "no more fried thighs". This bike seems to be cooler than the 16. Maybe the new M8 is better now. I ran some temps in 3 diff area's after dumping the HD oil & filter & it was cooler than before. Have a true syn oil in the bike now. HD oil is not a syn oil.

[QUOTE=ROAD DOG;792084] It wasn't just any ordinary McD's. This was the world famous "Rock & Roll" McD's in downtown Chicago. That place is wall to wall people 24 hours a day. Our HOG chapter has a Midnight ride up to Ill State Beach every year and we always stop at that McD's around 2am as a half way point.
They have gates on their parking lot and we were waiting for someone to come and open it, but we couldn't find the guy we made the reservations with so that's why we were waiting so long. We had about 20 bikes. We don't go there anymore.

put one on my 15 tri-glide doesn't do the job! unless you run some duct work from the motor to the intake of the fan to suck the hot air away it's just pulls it from were ever. Not worth it!
