A true gentleman! RIP Alex! You will be missed!
Alex Trebek, who hosted “Jeopardy!” for a record-setting 36 years and brought an authoritative and unflappable persona to the quiz show’s peculiar conceit, in which questions are delivered as answers, died on Sunday. He was 80. The death was confirmed by the show’s producers. They said that episodes of the show hosted by Mr. Trebek would air through Dec. 25 and that they had not made plans for a replacement

Condolences to the family as he will be missed. I have never read anything negative about the man, only good things.
Last night (Sunday 11/8/20) at 10pm, ABC did a very nice 1hr. program on his life.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well-preserved body, but to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting...Holy Sh!t What a ride!
Possibly one of the best game show hosts ever.
Have heard rumors of Ken Jennings taking over Jeopardy. Anyone else?
